My name is Farida Abdoulaye!
I am a third-year sociology student with a minor in film studies. I have lived in over 10 countries, and I love to write poetry. I love everything film-related, and I spend wayyy too much money at the cinema. I also admire asking tough questions about how we organize in society; why do we function the way we do? I have always wanted to start my own blog so this course is the perfect opportunity for me to really lean into that. I aim to challenge myself, and I aim to incorporate my interests with this course in a meaningful way. I am a very open person and I love having deep conversations! School occupies the majority of my time, and I have found myself struggling to make time to engage with what inspires me creatively. I intend to learn more about what it means to be digitally literate while acquiring new skills such as editing my own website and compiling resources.
